ok. not able to take pix as im stuck at work. hate this place but it is part of the trunk lid latch. if u wiggle the little part of th left it might come back on. it has something to with with spacing because my previous system setup would not allow my truck to go completely down and the light would stay on. just wiggle the little piece hanging off the left of latch and if that doesnt help take the little carpet piece off and look then

Ive already screwed with the little thingy off the side of the latch, it does nothing, nor do I think it has anything to do with the light, previously the light would come on when the lid was just opening, then go off half way open then turn back on when the trunk was all the way open religiously, so Im thinking that the switch has somthing to do with how far the lid is open. that tab just unlatches the latch

Thanks for taking the time to make the vid. I have played with that thing but still nothing. Looks like it is time to get out the test light and start tracing wires and see where I loose power.
