Kind of a weird thing going on with the motor as of the past few days. When I let off the throttle, it seems to take about a half of a second for the motor to actually back off. BTW I'm talking about just regular driving kind of throttle... not getting on it or anything. TPS situation? Thanks

Try moving the throttle by hand while the engine is off, does it stick or spring back to idle position? Maybe try to lubricate or clean it a bit.

Also check the pedal and make sure its free to return. Also, if the throttle cable is dragging or sticking, I've used a spray carb cleaner to clean it off (try and spray only on the cable). If you want to lube it use a dry lube like silicone spray so it won't let dirt stick to it. Also look for fraying of the throttle cable. This could cause it to stick.
