its pretty sad that time the ultimate "4 door Sports Car (4DSC)" is now....faded far from that status and dosent represent that very well in the newest of newest models IMO.

The skyline is here, thats the G35/G37. The new car is "GTR" only, not a skyline GTR even though thats what it should be called.

If you have kids or drive people around a lot go for the 4 door. Maybe a Gs4 or the Max. Gets kinda annoying waiting for people to get in if its raining, cold, or a blizzard.

I wouldn't get the SER if your going to swap the rims and mod it more. Unless it has a lot more hp than stock.

Otherwise i would do for the g35 coupe.

This is a question only you can answer and because you are asking it I would say you need to reevaluate your reasons to purchasing a car.

There are things to be said about buying a car based on if the wheels you have fit it -unless of course the wheels cost more than the cars you are looking at -which, invariably, would beg another question. See where I'm going with this?

I just gonna have to test drive em ..... im definately ready by the end of the summer, i just need to flaunt this beauty as long as possible. This is big to me cuz when i get a car i am gonna keep if for atleast 7+ years, and mod the crapout of it in a very critical detailed way.

Thanks yawl

Ill give my opinion as someone who actually owned the car, its a great car for the price, lots of power and a very sleek design that will get you lots of looks (if thats what your looking for) If you do go for one get and 04 6mt this way you get the 18's and the brembos.

As far as being a small car it is, its not as cramped as the 350z but its not like getting into a maxima.

and unless your around 5' tall the back isnt going to be comfortable for more than a few miles. Its also not very easy to get in and out of the back seat so chances are the back of the seats are going to get worm and dirty. (I know from driving around friends in HS that no one gives a **** about your car but you) Aside from that its a great car stock, that was one of the reasons I bought it was because I was tired of modding and I wanted a car that was fast and cool from the factory.

I also had a friend that had a sedan and I drove a few a loner cars and even in automatic the 06 sedan I drove was very quick. And buying a car based on wheels is not a great idea.

Yeah of course. that factor isnt my main concern... dont get me wrong......obviously when it came that day....and.... i saw something that....sold me and it wasnt 5x114.3 or 5x100 ...of course i wouldnt let the chance down....but... at the same time....this pattern is so popular anyway that ...i mind as well keep a little hope to find something with this pattern........but...well just have to wait and see....

Update: My cracked windsheild is letting water drip in on the passenger seat( and no its not in the range of the wipers) !!! i gotta use Clear silicone sealant some where to keep the damn seat dry !!! ....jsut one more reason im gettin ready for a new whip! !!

I am just a couple years (or almost couple of decades) late to the thread but I actually happen to like the 2003+ G35 coupe.. they're all beat to crap and riced out now but a really nice clean one with some tasteful mods is still a sexy ride. Not gay like mentioned above several years ago lol

So what did you end up going with? 7th Gen?
