3rd gen Seattle Meet: Saturday, Aug 6th

Putting it here since this is where all the local guys are.

Saturday, August 6th, 2005
1PM at Marymoor Park

Look for the Meet here pin

I'm planning a little 3rd gen Mini Meet for this Saturday. Chris will be coming up from Oregon and I talked to a few others about it.

Not sure on where yet. Was thinking either Marymoor park or the maybe the park on Mercer Island? If you have any idea's post them. Lake Sammamish costs $5 to get in, but is nice. Probably talking about from Noon or 1pm to whenever we get bored.

how many people in the area actually care enough about their max to go to a get together. It be dumb to show up if there were only like 5 people there. if there's more i might be down for a laugh or two

We've had about 8-9 meets so far. Just had one actually for all gens. Must have had 10-12 guys there at least. Don't know how many of just the 3-gen guys would go. But there are a good amount of 3-gen guys up here. Just not all come to every meet.

Hey, I am driving about 3.5-4 hours to get there.

I like it up there and it's nice to actually road trip and drive my car a little.

If you can make the trip, great. Just don't be disappointed if only a handful of guys show up. People are always busy and this is kind of short notice -- right Jeff?

I really wanted to go to the NWMaxima meet, but that was only a couple of days after my son had surgery.

Hey guys - would love to come out and see some more 3rd gen max's and meet some of you folks. Maybe get your guys advice on a few issues I've been having in the process. Anyway, saturday might just work for me! Let me know where... Mercer Island would be really convenient for me to get to.

Pearl if Hectic makes it. Maybe DaveBond is still alive we would have maroon.

I think that would just leave gold, light blue, light green and brown. I don't think anyone has light brown, blue or light green in the NW that I can recall.

Meet will be at Marymoor park, mainly because of the closed bridges and I dont think any of us want to deal with the headache (although, cool headache) on I-90.

Plus we should be somewhat ok in the event one or two of you get stereo happy

I want to hear them, too.

I desperately need to get some components and I have not heard these in person.

i would really love to go, for a bunch or reasons, i have never been to 1, i have never met anyone from the org in real life, and i havent been able to hear anyone else systems, the only "systems" that i have heard are my friends and usualy the are just a mtx or kicker sub with some amp, no componets or after market speakers, just a sub or 2 and a amp. I really wish i could go, but i will be spending the weekend at Lake Chelan at my cabin over there in the 95-100 degree weather out on my boat.
