ECU Pin/Wire diagram?

someone have a link to a ECU Pin/Wire diagram online?

bummers i can search the forum, that feature needs to come back!

long story short, i figured out my issue, computer somtimes wont kick on...

want to hardwire the ECU... need to know ground and power...

oh, car is a 1993 gxe i believe...

i tried looking here:

http://www.apexi-usa.com/productdocu..._safc_wire.pdf
http://www.apexi-usa.com/productdocu...AFC2Wiring.pdf

because they list most ECU layouts for installing an AFC, figured i could get the info from there but don't see maxima? is the maxima known as something different in japan or something?

sorry im a 300zx TT and Miata expert... heh

this maxi-pad is my daily driver...

although its mint with 50,000 miles, electrical issue up the **** with it... if your curious, here is the orginal post i made about this car with the problem i was having:
http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=342383

the third post from the bottom that Metho's made is 100% right... i made access to the ECU and could verify that in fact when the check engine light is on, ECU is on... when check engine light is off, ECU is off... whats weird is no matter what you can hear the ECU try to come on and can see some light coming out the window on the ECU (a bright white light of sort)... but only when the green and red LED light come on is when the ECU is at full power and the check engine light comes on and car goes vroom...

i know the maxima motor is pretty much a NA-Z motor for the most part...

this is what is printed on the VIN plate for engine type: VG30 (E)

this help you at all?

'89-'94 SOHC SE & GXE = VG30E 12valve
'92-'94 DOHC SE = VE30E 24valve

Hi,

first check on your vin for the engine that came with the car,

if it says h then you have a vg,

if it says e then you have a ve,

and it should say what kind of engine came with your car on the firewall,

if it say vg30 (e) then you have a vg30e,

if it say ve30 (de) then you have a ve30de,

eh, whatever don't really care its just the winter car...

im 100% positive doing a hardwire to the ECU will solve my problem... def. a grounding/relay issue going on somewhere.

You do realize that hardwiring the ECU will only cause the ECU to short out because your aren't fixing the cause.

this is one problem that has to be fixed with a multi-meter and possibly a scope.
you shouldn't try to have it diagnosed over the internet.
just my .02

im not trying to do a full diagnoses over the internet, but isn't human nature to explain whats going on to other people and see what there input is on the matter if in a bind?

it wasn't meant as an insult, but too many people think any problem can be diagnosed over the internet.
well they can't
and when it comes to problems with wiring and you apparently already know which wire.
Wouldn't it make more sense to track down the flaw and fix it?

You said some times it works and sometimes it doesn't right??
I would definatly check the relays for the ecm/efi systems. They are kinda common.

correct it only happens sometimes...

yep - relays are on the list of things to check/replace...

btw, is there a way to pull the relay and test it?
