Painted engine bay pics

Just painted my engine bay the other day. They blue is alot darker than it appears in the photo...for some reason it looks like a real light blue and my intake looks alot lighter too.

I like the idea of painting the little roundish brackets that hold the top of the radiator in place (can't think of the right name for them now)... I've been throwing around the idea of painting them just to stop them from rusting away... I dont know if I want to paint them a color or black.. so Ill just wait

I'm not feelin' the light blue.

Painting the coil packs = not the best idea. You don't want paint getting into sensitive electrical components. It might not hurt anything yet, but with time and temperature, you don't want to mess with that. You know each one of those is about $70, right?

all electrical compontents of the coil packs where protected...and its not light blue...read the ****ing text, thats how the pics came out....its a dark blue..and my intake is alot darker blue than in the pics too....For some reason it looks like a light *** blue.
and by the way, the paint is special made for 5k degree's so why worry of any electrical connections...why would someone paint something in their engine bay without heat sensitive paint..why would you even think that unless your dumbass would do it yourself.

hey, you brought this on yourself...

This is not a Honda Civic board.

If you want to paint your car, or any of it's components light ( or dark) blue, lime green, pink or whatever, it's your car and you are more than welcome. Just don't snap at us when you get flamed. That's just the nature of this board. It is kind of a rice-free zone.

well seeing as Chris has had some experience with coil packs (Oregon VE Coil Curse ), he was just trying to save you some money.

Brand? other info? I have some real engine parts I'll probably be painting soon, and IIRC the highest mine goes to is 1500* (and there is special prep that is required for that to work)

here: this is probably the cleanest VE I've seen

the only things I would do differently is put an awsm66 FSTB and run the amp power wire threw the fender and hood release cable gromet.

aside from that, fap fap fap

haha Shawn is a nice guy but damn, dude is what 6' and 220? I'd have to gangster hit him from behind with Chris's fstb.

You smokey, keep is civil. You post pics, expect opinions both ways. Can't handle it, either don't post pics or chalk it up to constructive critizism. Can't keep it civil, consider yourself warned.
