vq-vg swap

Whenever i was first on the board i herd this subject come up. im sure its been beaten to death but i dont have the dinero to give at the time as its all goin towards skool. but i was wondering how the vq fits in the 3rd gen. ive herd it was a closer fit to the existing vg brackets and tranny that the ve.

IBTL - Not THIS again... The line on this subject is that, unless you've recently won Powerball, have a large inheritance, or are just plain filthy rich, there's NO WAY it's gonna be anywhere near a DIY project.

WTF?

Why would a VQ fit easier than a VE? The VE is made to fit in the engine bay and uses the same mounting points of the VG.... the VQ is completely different.
