This thread is utter crap. VG = 160hp @ 5200 rpm/ 182tq 3200 rpm on good day. Most VGs are tired, beat on, and not making anywhere near that much power. G35 = 280hp @ 6200 rpm/ 270tq @ 4800 rpm
There is NO comparison. Any perceived performance advantage of a VG vs. a VQ35 is a delusion. I also enjoy my 3rdGen VG. But comparing one in a favorable light to a VQ of any type is nuts.
