what happens if you mix injector types?

a friend has a '94 GXE with an unknown number of bad injectors. Could be one or more than one...

Anyway, he is low on cash at the monent, and being the grand guy that I am I offered up to 4 yellow dot injectors for a very small fee. The only catch is what if his car doesn't have yellow dot injectors?

He asked me to post this on his behalf, mostly because I told him not to mix them. I think because I cannot explain the differences, he doesn't want to hear it.

Ryan

I stopped by the nissan dealer a few weeks ago and asked to see an actual NEW rather than refurbished black dot injector(I have an 89se). The guy told me nissan oem injectors were no longer differentiating b/w black and blue dot injectors. You may want to call nissan and see if this holds true for yellow and I believe green dot for the 94gxe.

This job is done. Replaced #4 injector. The resistance when the car was hot was 18.5 and buy the time we took it out and it had cooled off the resistance jumped to 236. The FSM helped with the torque sequences and that was that.

I think it took about 4 hours, including a beer run/carb cleaner run.
