My baby is fixed!

Yesterday was one of the happiest days I've had since I owned my Max... After 2 years, I finally was able to get my studs replaced! I am SOOOOOO happy now...
That was my last major repair, now I just have the stupid little ones (Like re-soldering my heater control unit) that I can do in between mods
I had 4 studs in the back, and 3 in the front completely broken off, and I had all 12 replaced with the upgraded studs from Courtesy Nissan (Parts only cost me about $80 or so after shipping w/.Org discount)
My EGR valve wasn't connected either, which I am pretty sure is the reason why I had the surging problems with it when I was under 2k RPM (Which made going the speed limit on the highway interesting because it would surge every few seconds)
Ironically, my muffler that was very loud and annoying (To everyone except me) is very quiet now... It changed the whole tone of my intake and exhaust now... It's going to take some getting used to!

I heard studs are pretty bad. Glad to hear that your car is better.

Yeah, I'm kinda curious on that too, Taegost... I think you and I are (or were...) in the same boat. Did you do everything yourself, or took it to a shop?

<chuckle> No way would I do that, it's a major PITA, especially since my entire exhaust is welded together.
I called up several exhaust specialists that my bro referred me to, and none of them would even let me bring my car in when I talked to them on the phone... So I called up my trusty mechanic (Who also owns a Max) and they did it for me, cost $548 in labor, I supplied the parts.
I don't really get a discount from him, even tho he's been our family mechanic for as long as I can remember, but he does excellent work and really knows his stuff... They set aside the day to work on it.
