Symptoms of a bad TCM??

Anyone know the symptoms of a bad TCM(transmission control module)? Atleast once a day when I start my car, the O/D light flashes..I know that this means the TCM is reseting..can anyone give me an idea as to why this might be happening?

Yesterday I was driving and the car began to act weird..when I hit the gas pedal, the rpm would fly up to about 3k quickly but I would feel no acceleration and then launch up to redline...it seemed like it wanted to go past redline but I eased off the pedal. I never had my car feel this fast but it wasnt a good feeling..I pulled over ..turned off the car and restarted it..and everything was normal again..:::sigh:::Ill appreciate any help anyone can give me..Thanks

EDIT: I failed to mention that I have a CEL for a speed sensor

Thanks guys..I went to my mechanic for advice and he said that the speed sensor is probably causing my TCM to reset and that my MAF is probably going bad...

I hope everything goes well after I replace the parts...does anyone else think that my problem might be MAF related?
