My research has led me to believe that the answer is neither.
For daily use, the best thing is blank. They will last the longest and perform just fine. For track/autocross use (not many of us really do this) its a toss up as to which is better. Lots of people say that drilled *WILL* crack. The grooved/ slotted are also at risk, but it seems that it is a bit lower. Slots that are cut all the way through also will crack, but I've not see many of those anymore.
For me its more about the zinc wash. I know the Brembo sports will be great quality, I want them looking as good as possible for as long as possible. I do not need the benefits that slots or holes give, as I mostly drive it for my commute. I do only put about 4-5 thousand miles a year on this car, so I bet they will last me a while.
