Are you refering to your engine making the noise, or when your in motion, I had an issue with a grinding noise a couple of months ago. Apparently it had to do with some sort of a bent plate making contact with the rotors as i drove. Was caused by the Nissan Service dept when replacing my rotors.

Get it fixed as soon as you can, if it is the same issue i had, you run the risk of having veins engraved on your rotors.

Your welcome

Yeah, actually I had my rotors replaced in November, and I am noticing the same thing........it's a metal grinding sound........you can notice it easier if you are up against a wall.........if the car is sitting parallel to something that the sound can bounce off of, you can easily notice it..........

Just below 3000RPM?

Well atleast just below 3K RPM is where mine was. I was fearful it was something in the engine doing it. But My purchase dealer couldn't find the problem after having my car and giving me a loaner for a couple of days, This was about the only problem I had with the Dealer's service dept as EVERYTHING Else was great, Team Nissan Marietta.

I took it to Gwinnett Place Nissan after they moved to Pleasant Hill, and within 30 minutes came back to me and said they thought it was the exhaust. After about another 20 minutes they handed me a bracket for the exhaust (a frontal hard bracket) that the eye hole for the bolt was broken in half. They simply took it off as they can't get a replacement part anytime soon. The noise was gone.

i have a wierd gargling kinda noise(more like a running water actually) usually between 2 to 3 k rpm...doesnt matter if i am still or driving i have the noise coming directly from the glove compartment area. I went twice to see my dealer and both times they flushed my entire coolant system, checked the heater...but didnt solve the problem it is actually worst now...driving me crazy ..did anyone experienced it?

I've experienced the same (althoguh mine doesn't seem to be as persistant as yours...). There is a TSB for this (can't remebere where though - maybe someone else can point him to this?), and shold be performed ASAP as there is likely air trapped in the heater core. Although, you'd think a coolant fluch would maybe get rid of this?

I just had the gurgling problem fixed. It sounded like a waterfall rushing from front to back when I accelerated. They said it was air in my fluids. I had the 30k service done (I know, I know) and it stopped a couple days later.

But I STILL have the gringing noise up front. I have not had any work done to the rotors yet, so thats not it. OF COURSE, the dealer cannot hear the noise....Man I hate that. Seems there is always a noise of some sort, that only I CAN HEAR!!
