Dashboard dent removal?

Apparently my parens decided to take my car to get some groceries, and my mom thought it was so comfortable that she put her feet up on the dash ....with heels on. now I have 3 dime-shaped dents in my dash, right above the glove compartment....please, please tell me there is an easy way to buff these out, they are really an eyesore in my opinion....teaches me to let my mom in my car.

Please, any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I have similar little dents on my rear door armrests (same type of hard but pliable material as that part of the dash) from cramming too much stuff in the back seat on a road trip. I wish there was some way to fix it but I'm not optimistic.

I would suggest finding something with strong suction and trying to pop them out. I know they make a do-it-yourself dent removal for paintless dent removal, but I doubt you would need something that powerful for the dash.

somtimes you can push your fingernail across the dash...not too hard, kind of like trying to get the last little bit of toothpaste out of the tube...or like making a small wave (like ocean wave) in the "vinyl" and going over the spot to help bring it up. or carefully try a hairdryer to heat it up and expand the vinyl and the thin layer of foam underneath. or go to a dashboard repair place and bill your mom...ha

Your mom did what? Wow! Don't worry about it. Make her research and fix it.

God, what the hell was she thinking? Can you imagine an accident with your feet on the dash, above the airbag box?

my dad told me it wasnt such a big deal, then i asked him "what if she did that to YOUR car?" and he just gave me one of those, "I know exactly what you mean" looks, laughed, and walked away.

I'm gonna go to the nearest detail place, I dont know any places around NJ.....that can fix this...it's a minor fix, but it sure is annoying...

Don't ever let her in your car again.

I am still in shock at how stupid that was. I mean, come on.
