Nah, as nice as it is to save that money, I would prefer to buy retail and help local business owners. The price of the filters isn't too drastic from the internet site you linked above.

I did that also, but it comes up with the same Purolator part# as the VG engine. I though that was a no no for VE's?

Your right, it was an assumption which is why I said "will (meant willing) to bet". I was going by the Purolator guide. I used the Purolator's part # for the Toyota filter to check what other cars use the same filter, and they list GM vehicles also using the same Purolator part #. I'm not sure if that is the correct procedure?
