If it were me, I'd go with the Toyota as that is what I use and is why I went to great lengths to write this FAQ sticky. I wouldn't have made this sticky if I didn't want to recommend it.

After several unsuccessful attempts to obtain the 60U00 oil filter ( including one unscruplous fellow that was willing to sell them to me at $35 a pop !), I decided to give the toyota a whirl. It is much smaller but fits just fine. Only prob is that I have become spoiled with age and since my nissan dealer refused to put a toyota filter on a nissan, I did the job myself. I forgot what a pain that damn plastic shield is that seems to be directly in the path of the oil pan drain, so as usual i made a damn mess! Anyways, it on there and many thanks for the info.
One last question, I was a tad perplexed at the multitude of oil choices out there, including reg 5w-30, high mileage 5w-30, combo synth/oil, and full synthetics. I went with the high mileage 5w-30 ( my car has 86K), although i wonder if next time i should consider a synth blend or full synth. Also , why do the high mileage oils >75 K not have the 'energy conserving' stipulation in their resume?...and does that mean anything?
Thanks again, cleaner....in PA
