Bascily, you should be able to use whatever you want as the one actually designed for the VE is now discontinued.

If it were me, I'd go with the Toyota as that is what I use and is why I went to great lengths to write this FAQ sticky. I wouldn't have made this sticky if I didn't want to recommend it.
