I agree! It's amazing something that old still works with original parts (I am guessing?)...

Someone has to make a pristine gen 3 for museum...

Can u give some history on the transmission? Like is it in perfectworking condition? Why is it out of the car in the first place?

Pulled it out cuz I though second n 5th gear was bad. N installed another used tranny I bought online. The new tranny also had the same problem smh I was **** off cuz I paid $500 for the new tranny. After researching the forum I learn that my shift bushing was broken. I replace it n it shifts perfect now. I have a video proof of the bushing went bad on YouTube here the link. Tranny works fine
