FS: Various 3rd Gen and turbo parts -

Here is a list of parts I've still got around. LIST UPDATED: 4/24/09.

I accept offers! Email me directly for questions: Mxmumpwr@aol.com
Images for any item can be produced within a couple days.

Misc. Parts: (VE/VG) A/C/heater blower motor; Analog climate control; Deck lid(drk/gry); Hood(drk/gry); Trunk/gas lid release switch; Front/Rear bumpers and covers; transmission side axle splash guard; stock corner markers (R side only); Doors and window glass; Brake booster; ABS sensors and ecu; Air bag system (complete); Cruise control system; power steering pump and resourvior; Coolant resouvior; '89 side mirrors (non-heated); Rear bose amps w/brackets (no speakers); radiator; windshield cowl; Dash Trim: peice around guages, trim for switches (behind steering wheel), Passenger's "A" pillar, bottom dash cover (below steering wheel); stereo console and trim cover; kick panels; center consoles (where shifter and e-brake are located); Several center console/arm rest lids; glove box and trim panel; as well as cloth front and rear seats; and leather front and rear seats.

*Random Tech Cat. Converter: 2.5" (922211) New in Box.

** Brand new set of R-33 Skyline tail lights. These are straight from Nissan and in perfect/mint condition.

*** Autometer A/F guage and sensor (Narrow Band). Comes with all wires/components to install. You can see images on my Cardomain page.

*** Autometer Mechanical Oil Pressure Guage. Works perfectly. Comes with everything to install.

****New Headlight Bulbs: 9007 (x3) and 9004 (x1) Blue bulbs. These are higher than stock wattage. $5 plus shipping per set.

VG: VG block and heads (no rockers or rods); lifters (all good/pump up); flywheel; auto flex plate; Stock Ign. Coil; stock air box and intake piping; ecu (#a18-a13-e71 <9114>); stock injectors ('89-91); other various relays, wire/harness plugs, and electronic components.

VE: various electrical components (ie: cam position sensor and power transistor for the coils).

*Note: My mistake. I had previously listed several more VE parts, however recently confirmed engine is actually a VQ.

VQ30DE: Just obtained complete engine (minus oil pan and coil packs) which had a blown head gasket. Therefore, I have VQ intake, heads, timing cover, valve covers, and block.

* I have also accessed the VE injectors from this engine (guy had put them in a box and forgot them.) These are red top injectors and have all ohmed out to 11.3 and 11.4. I checked all 6 twice.

VGET: fuel rail (top feed) and injectors (not tested); top engine designation plate ("3000 Turbo").

I have 3 sets of Owner's Manuals. One is from my '89 Max and the other two are from the numerous 3rd gens I've owned (5 - Owned in all a total of 8 of various gens). Two sets for 1989 model. One set for 1993 model. All come with and in their original plastic folding sleeve book. I can provide images of each set. I don't know if these have any true value. How about $10 per set plus shipping?

Stillen Wing: Nothing is wrong with the wing. Silver paint still in great condition...no pealing or fading. The front pointed tips of the wing where it bolts to the trunk do look a little "roughed up." What this means is that they are not smooth...looking like little puzzle peices of paint have been removed. But, the guy that last painted my car, painted over these places. So, again, paint is still good if all that makes sense.

I can provide detailed images and better images if there is interest. Here are some links to the wing on the car. Best I have currently. I could not find a better image at this time and Stillen no longer makes/sells this wing. I Googled and only found my own images on Cardomain....which I of course have linked below.

Make offers! Many other peices as well, email for specific questions.

Also have an Evo exhaust system. Here's an image:

Cluster is dismantled, I have peices of it like the plastic cover and a couple of the guages, nothing you could likely find usefull. Think of a car as a person facing you, their left is your right. Or, sitting in the driver's seat, facing forward with the car, your right side is the car's right side...visa-versa. So, Right side is passenger side, sorry. I have a left/driver's side marker but it is cracked at the edge where the amber is. I'm willing to ship to Canada if there is something I have you need.

Are you asking about both guages? Narrow Band and mechanical oil pressure guage? Both to you via UPS is $8 shipping. How about $40 shipped for both?

Dang, Chris... looks like you're breakin' up "da band", huh? Are ya gettin' out of the 3rd gen game, or moving on to a different look? I've had Juan's Stillen kit (remember his gold 3rd gen on bags??) in storage for the better part of a year now, so PM me and touch bases with me on that wing (if it isn't already gone by now) - so I can try to get a "complete" Stillen kit together.

Nubi:
Not getting out, I've barely had any time to even enjoy my 3rd gen turbo! So, I'm still here, just hoping to clean out my garage, I've got alot of new shelves to put up and a sale is better than moving stuff from one shelf to another. I guess I need to take a picture of my shelves and many boxes of Maxima parts so people can get some understanding of all the stuff I've really got!

I'm actually getting yet another 3rd gen Friday.....$125 with a bad auto tranny. Otherwise, good running/looking car. Guy just doesn't know how or care to fool with it anymore. My gain! I think this makes a total of 9 Maxima's I will have owned now.

Wing still available. YGM.

Wayne: You've got mail!

Update: Just thought I'd share some images of my garage/warehouse of maxima parts. Once I move everything onto my new shelves, I'm going to catalog everything....I'll have to. Keep in mind these images do not include the images of the the front/rear leather seats I've got or the front two sets of cloth seats I've got, or the two additional doors I've got.

...and here I thought MY storage bin was 'rowdy'. Hey, is that evo exhaust a 'bolt-on' thing for a VG, or is it something that you'd have to modify to get it to fit?

Oh, and YGM (with pics- so it's pretty big)

The Evo exhuast is not specifically designed for the Maxima, so it would have to have some short pipe/bends added to it in order to route it around the gas tank. Very doable, but I just don't like the muffler style and found an unbeatable quote for an entire new system flex pipe back. I had a guy price me a 2.5" or 2.75" exhuast system for $150. So, no point in trying to do anything with this Evo system.

UpDate: Just obatined a VE engine (no injectors, coil packs, or oil pan). As indicated in the post, bigger items are intake (automatic version), heads, valve covers, and exhaust manifolds. Images can be provided.

Note: The engine endured a blown headgasket. I have never heard the engine run and cannot account for the condition of the VTC's. Guy's uncle owns a junk yard and just gave him a new engine to go into his Max. So, I got his old engine. Short and long of story. What's not sold, goes to recycle yard for aluminum and scrap metal.

There are two under body splash guards. The one under the engine is the RIGHT (passenger) side. The one beneith the transmission is the LEFT (driver) side. I plugged in your zip code and UPS said it was faulty. What country are you from? I tried looking it up through USPS but it said it was something PR. I don't know what country PR is. The shipping size will be 25x17x1 for the splash guard.

As I've indicated in the post, I have no coil packs for sale. Well, I've got one, but don't know the exact condition so I'm not selling it.

If you still want the splash guard, let me know. I'll still need better address information.

UPDATE: Just purchased a local '90 Maxima GXE; VG, auto. Here are the issues. Transmission will not engage (Shifter moves easily between gears and tranny power switch works) but front axles don't budge. Guy said he put in an axle, drove it around the block, and it stopped. Guy is an idiot, so either he messed something up, or tranny is gone and he thought it was an axle. Has front end damage but I have ALL parts to fix cosmetic. Driver's side fender rail (upper portion the fender bolts to) is pushed in a little and needs some straightening. A little nudge from a port-a-power will be all it needs. Car also has significant rust in the rear fenders on the inside. Rear strut towers look okay. However, upon removing the rear seat, there is a strip about 12-16" long on both sides where you can see the rear tires. There also seems to be some rust in the rear floor board, but the floor seems solid for now. Needs driver's side lower control arm bushing. There is a minor dent behind the passenger rear tire. No sun roof. All glass and window regulators good. Car has clear (rebuilt) title.

Why do I say all this? Because I had hoped the axle has just popped out and I was going to drive this car as my beater. Becuase this is a complete running car other than the tranny issues. I can fix everything on this car (including the rust) but honestly DO NOT want to swap in a tranny. I DO NOT want to look for a tranny either.

So, I'm offering it up first as a parts car for sale. $300 as it sits. In current condition, it is missing driver's fender, front bumper and bumper cover, both headlights, and both side marker lights. I can offer images and you CAN hear it run. I could make more parting it out, but that would just put more stuff on the shelves that I'm trying to MOVE!

If someone can weld and doesn't mind finding a tranny, we can discuss my providing you with all parts necesarry to repair cosmetic needs. I just want to be clear, I consider this car a beater and should be seen as a parts car in it's current state.

*Note: My mistake. I had previously listed several VE parts to include a complete engine. However, I recently confirmed the engine is actually a VQ30DE. The for sale post has been corrected.

Looking for the center armrest, the bigger one that came in the later years. Doesn't really matter what color, I'm planning on having it wrapped in leather.

Sorry for the delayed response guys, I had recieved no indication there were responses to this thread until I just so happened to check it today. Not sure what's up. Either way..

Coolsun: I have no VE injectors left. Only VG. Also, I have a couple of coils for the rear cylinders, but I can't confirm they are any good. I've kept them just in case I ended up with another VE or someone local needed to try a swap to problem solve/diagnose. I simply don't feel comfortable selling them.

DHunter: Yes, I have several center console lids but, only have one high rise lid left. Email me directly at mxmumpwr@aol.com so that I can send you the pics. It needs some repair.....which even that would be cheaper to repair than wrap completely! I look forward to your email and will be taking the pics today!

Dayle: I do have a full set of black leather seats. However, the upper rear seat is torn. All other seats are in near perfect condition and are electric. No FSTB. As indicated to DHunter, I have several center console lids. However, I currently only have one "high rise" left. I will take pictures. Please email me directly at my aol account so I can get those images to you. Regarding the side triangular dash vents...I couldn't find any.

Sorry guys, there is really too much to post images of. The list really must do unless anyone wants an image of something specific. I just simply have shelves upon shelves of stuff. Lots of stuff in boxes, and other stuff stored above my office in the garage. There are tons of misc. parts which are not listed...rear view mirrors, door handles, single window switches and black cosmetic cover, inner door handles, sunroof spacers, door hinges, door latches (for door and part for pillar), door switch (which triggers light), sensor harnesses (like for MAF and such), etc. I'd be willing to sell the whole lot if anyone wants to come pick it up? Figured I'd throw that out there!
