Dual works better if you did sequential...small turbo spooling a big turbo...else single big turbo > *.
OP: Here is more to work with. Pretty easy obtainable mods. My car probably was the more heavily modified cars here. Just short of FI which was already in the works before I wrecked the car. I had a kick *** setup for autox.
E-dog might have the turbo, but I would own his *** in the turns.
look dont be mad that you aint got it anymore, you know that you loved it!
Mine stop working...and it isn't worth the few grand to fix it. Besides...my KYB/Eibach setup was still light years better than even the stock adjustable.
stock non adjustable was still light years beyond stock adjustable.
mines been sitting for about 10 months, i am going to get a momento from it.....the alternator with the life time warranty, and its getting shipped off for a couple hundred
ok then i gots a question sarin, the rear shocks is there a cartridge to remove or sometin. shows it in my fsm but i cant seem to turn the bolt. i wanna do a hybrid of 3rd gen springs and 2nd gen struts so i can keep the adjs. they(adjustables) really help the baby sleep....
Well the stock strut is one unit, but you can remove the gland pack to take it apart and add a strut cartridge. Keep in mind that the spring diameter on 3rd gen springs is smaller than 2nd gens.
yeah thats why i asked because the fronts look the same and i saw the rears and was like, dang not a straight swap. i think i might just go 3rd gen suspension i luve the adj,s but finding a set of rears that work is slim to none. and new is outa the question due to the fact that theyl be worth more than the car. oh well ditch it i think ima gonna go 3rd gen suspension.
here is my humble addition to the modified 2nd gen pictures. This is my maxima by the way, and it is nowhere near being done. headlights are being replaced ASAP, and the fogs have been replaced since these pictures. Too bad I don't have any rear pictures yet, my babies *** is the shizznit

They are 19x8.5 made by MRR designs. Luckily I had already done the 3rd gen suspension swap because these are 5 lug wheels. They are unexpectedly light at around 28 lbs(for 19" chrome rims)

Did you know that the Z32 adjustable struts on normal had the same rebound/compression as the 2nd gen on firm? Back in the day when mine went out I considered taking the strut apart and either using a thicker fluid or finding a Z32 shock to see if I could swap internals. I ended up with some kyb gr2s and ST springs. Knowing what I know now, I'd look into maybe modifying a set of kyb AGXs and going with a different spring. I'm thinking that if your after better handling then a custom set of springs will need to be made along with a shorter strut that would keep the travel near stock.
