looking for a .bin file for my ecu
I would like to know if anyone here has a z31 NA tune or the stock bin file from an automatic 1986 z31 ecu? I would like to have one so I can do an easy tune(that is if my consult works) from my maximas stock tune to the z31 NA automatic transmission stock tune. I don't want the hassles of switching ECUs and making sure the wiring harness connector fits, etc.

I've been trying to get one too. I can get Turbo Z31 88 bins, but no NA bins. Im trying to get an EPROM burner to make custom tunes, I can probably make a modded tune for the Z31 N/A ECU.
I dont think you can flash it with the consult, Im not sure if there is a Consult port on the 2nd gens.
What does the inside of your ECU look? Do you have a 28 pin EPROM? If so, you can get an upgraded rom chip installed.
Too bad I no longer have an N/A 2nd Gen, or else I would make a custom tune at my school with their dyno. Im making a tune for my turbo setup, once i get it completed.
Also, you'd probably have to swap your MAFS, if you switched ECU's, cause the Z31 MAFS are different from the Max's MAFS, the ECU programed for the specific ECU's. But if you were able to get a modded Z31 N/A tune, you could program it for the Max's MAFS.
