well if i had more money i would have done more than a RB20 but I am going to use this as a DD and I don't really need all that extra power. I got a good deal on the 20. I run the stock SMIC.

[quote=maximase86;4174803]My old Maxima. MOTM July 2005.

Nice shoehorned motor! I just ran across a really clean 82 this week.....I'm wondering if I can get it for my 18 yr old.....She'll hate me for that......putting in a 28 yr old car! LOL.....You can't hard those old cars......they're solid! I wouldn't really worry if she torn up a older car.....I'll be pissed if I spent $5000 on a used car and she tears it up/totals it in less than 2 yrs..... My first car was 10 yrs old when I got....1974 Toyota Celica ST.......

Has anyone done any test fitting to see what the best wheel size and offset are to get the widest tires on the 1st gen?
I'm thinking a 15x7 or 15x8 with a +15 or +20 offset to keep the tires off the fender.
I know the 15x6 0 offset Z car wheels will put the tires too far out and rub but there's sooo much room left under the fenders, it's a huge waste of space.
Thoughts?

New here.
83'
Since there are no suspension setups without retrofitting for this car. I'm just gonna bag it. Once i finish my bagged 88' GMC 1 ton then it's the Datsun
Hopefully get it sittin like HighFiveMaxi!'s but lower. Maybe get some adapters for my Panasport UL's to fit off my FB
