one irritating problem, then another

ok so i made it up to salem/portland and well the car ran fine...handling was a different story but thats because my suspension is GONE!

any way that not imporant right now...comming up i pulled off in springfield ,for those who have been up and down I5 spring feild is a town [aka eugene] known as a wide spot with one of the most stupid on/off ramps that go from 3 lane to 2 lane to divided to now your not on i5 any more, any way i pulled off and comming to to the chevron where i was to drop my load i herd a kinda funny rattling sound when i started from a stop...hmm i though, the car ran fine shifted fine wasnt over heating and i had pressures so huh.

made my dump deposit came back got something to eat and check my transmission while i was at it and i noticed when i turned the engine on i could heat the rattling noise a little better so while under the hood i grabbed the throttle body and gave it some gass and got shot in the face with exhaust...come to find out the metal tube hat connects up under the EGR valve had com off some how...so i grab it, DUH, now i have a funny pattern in my hand, i get a rag try to screw it on, it goes a little and then popps right back off (with it off of course) so i get it so its on, drive the rest of the way up and figure i'll try it when its cool the next day...the next day comes arround my parents say i need new tires i say theyre fine....the front ones were but the rear were not so i try to tell them something else needs to be fixed instead...so i get tires (federal tires any good?)

get the car back, try it again, nothing...any one know how to get this thing back on....if i am not doing 85 i am getting fumed....which is good because i was going 85 or more most of the time

i figured i would just set up a quick (or nto so quick) thread so i could fix it when i get home...
