where does one find...

the front air damn that came as an option for the SE maxima in 87-88? Does anyone know of any wrecking yards that would be willing to part with it. The trouble i have had is that most places wont sell just the dront air damn but want to sell you the whole bumper cover instead.

I might, emphasize MIGHT have mine from my 88 SE. I took mine off cos I was installing fog lights. I'll hafta dig through my garage through the pile of parts from previous cars. I know I have the one from my 99 saturn. need seats from an 87 VW fox? a trunk lid for an 89 sentra? a grille for a 91 cavalier? thermostat housing for an 86 s-10 blazer? a master cylinder I can't identify? several disassembled alternators? I got it all.

anyway, I'll take a look.

Good luck finding one of these. Every single one I found in the past was in bad shape at junkyards.

Search does not work for you because you have not donated to the forum (house rule). Also if you find a junk yard that you can pull you own parts you could probably get one.

See link in sig. It sucks compared to the real search (from what I read) but it's better than nothing.

well I briefly dug through the car parts and the pile of stolen road cones and street signs but had no success in finding it. this was 2 years ago that I put it in there, who knows what happened. I may very well still have it, I don't know. if I find it, I don't want anything for it. just cover the shipping. I don't believe in making money off friends. if I can't find it, I gotta go to the junk yard this week to get a heater switch for the blazer, they have one 2nd gen left (86 SE, sarin's color), if it's decent I know the guy there, he'll let me pull it. I'll let ya know.

and ohh yeah, I found one good stock Maxima rim from my 88, in fairly decent condition. I had a spare. although I imagine shipping it would be a small fortune... if anyone's in the area and wants to pick it up, it's yours.. I don't want anything for it...
