Cool link on how to tell if you have a VG30 A/B block or VG30 W Block
http://www.engr.colostate.edu/~radar...eschanges.html
We know about how Nissan recasted the VG30E in 87. This tells exactly what is different from the A/B blocks in the 84-86 VG30E, and the W Block in the 87 and newer blocks. Definately an interesting way of reducing engine noise and increasing power.

It shows where you can find those markings. Though some of those you'd have to have your engine taken apart!

oh crap, nevermind, I guess I really don't care that much if my engine could possibly be more quite and more powerful
