Canadian Engine Mounties

My thread title is stupid. But thats besides the point!

After changing tranny fluid, I came to find that the engine mounts are shot. As is my practice, took the car over to 2 different shops for price quotes. One shops gave me a price of approx. $450 incl labour, using aftermarket mounts, the other $650 incl labour using Nissan parts.

Somethings you want to go aftermarket, somethings you want to stick with the real deal. I'm not looking for the cheapest option, just the right one. Would aftermarket mounts be sufficient, or should I stick with Nissan's?

Also, Sarin, what would be the ball park figure on having my auto converted to a manual transaxle? Definately an upgrade I'd like to get within the next 2 years.

Also!

Where'd you get those nifty clear inner door lenses? Red makes my mind hurt.

Neat. I have to admit thats alot cheaper than I thought it would be. Guess I'll have to start shopping around for a 3rd gen manual tranny within the next year

What about the clear lenses?

$24 for the pair. Ask for the 1988 Maxima All White edition turn signal cover.
