btw how do you know that your not getting electricity from the distributor?
dats beacuz i put a screw driver in one of the lead wire and i put it near da body of da car and there is no sparks if current were coming from the distrubutor it would spark right ??
awwwh man that night of been bad for the car the while car body is a ground and if you sent a spark to it you could of blown a fuse or 2 or three check those as well
but you might of not seen a spark if the screw driver has a plastic or rubber handle it would of have needed to be an all metal one
Actually the 3rd gens had the lsd's 4th gens in other countries had the lsd's but not the U.S.. If you did find one it was a Canadian model. The Fifth gens I believe have the LSD's gens. But the 3rd gens for sure had them on the Later models I believe.
i changed the distributor cuz the one i got with da engine was busted up and i still aint gettin spark and plus my coil is not gettin warm i suppose dat it is the coil which is responsible for this oh and when i changed the distributor i jus observed where the rotor was pointin and jus put in da new one the same way
test the crank angle sensor. Pull the distributor, but leave the CAS sensor harness plugged in, turn the ignition on. Spin the distributor shaft. You should hear the fuel injectors operate while the distributor is spinning. If that is the case, the CAS is fine, something is happening between the ECU and the ignition coil, or you have a bad coil...OR the method for testing spark is flawed.
To test spark, I personally use a new or known good plug...hook one of the coil wires to it and hold the tip against a grounded surface (be sure you don't hold the plug itself, but rather the boot or wire). Crank the car over. Spark should be bright almost white for a strong spark. If the spark is dim, you could potentially have a problem. If you get spark, chances are you aren't getting fuel.
well for now i know dat my crank angle sensor is working and i know dat i am not getting any power from my coil da coil isn't sendin any kind of power what so ever to da distributor
not afraid to ask for it i need some help finding performance parts for my 90 max and was wondering if anyone could help cause i cant find **** except for andys autosport and the barely have anything so lend a helping hand to a guy who needs it
