the ecu you can use is on off of a same year 300zx or one year newer then your car.. its plug n play but if you have a auto trans get the ecu off of a auto 300zx (non turbo 300zx ecu only)

wat do you mean? can the vg20et or the vg30et can do 0-60 in 4.7 sec?? well it can be done but not in a maxima fwd car only in rwd car for the shear fact that the fwd trannys are week, but might be doable if thers money and time to reinforce the maxima 5 speed tranny and then we are looking at like 0-60 at somwhear from 5 - 6 sec..... (stock 0-60 times for maxima 2nd gen is 8 sec)....

more info may be needed to....

if you are stating a vg20et being able to do 4.5 on moded fule system and increaced boost.. i dont think that is posible for the vg20et to do 4.5sec 0-60. the vg30et makes 200 hp and 227 ft/lb of tq while the vg20et makes 170hp and like a mear 180 ft/lb of tq.. so if you moded the vg20et's fule sys. and increaced boost you are just going to end up with vg30et 0-60 times.. your best bet would be to get a vg30e/t and mod that if you want to get faster 0-60 times..

p.s.vg20et to vg30et is a pluge and play just swap E.C.U's, you should keep your vg20et tranny since its geard to reduse t-lag
