how to clean rear window w/o damaging defrost lines
i just notice how dirty the rear window is today. i was wondering what's the best way to clean the glass without damaging the defrost lines. i already fubared the two bottom ones from a speaker install incident 
i was thinking of just a moist paper towel, but if there are cleaners/sprays out there, i rather use that. any tips/advice? Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just use your usual quality glass cleaners and cloths/microfiber cloths. Just try not to use things that are too hard.
You can probably fix your 2 damaged lines if they're just nicked. Permatex (I think) sells a defroster line repair kit for this.

Just don't use Windex on aftermarket tint jobs...

My dad and I use Windex on our aftermarket tint w/o problems... I would think if it's a quality tint (the place we get our cars done costs about $200+ and includes a 3-yr warranty) it shouldn't matter what you spray on it.

A tint safe glass cleaner is cheap. I bought one bottle of Eagle One 20/20 for under $5 Cdn and it seemed to take me forever to finish that huge bottle! Just use the safe stuff guys, most of them perform better anyway. If you're so broke that you have to use Windex because it's 1 or 2 bucks cheaper....
