Alldata is Not all the data

I subscribed to Alldata for my 2000 Maxima. Imagine my surprise when service bulletins that had appeared months earlier on Maxima.org were NOT on Alldata. I emailed them and listed specific service bulletins that were missing on their database. I got an email back from Alldata which stated that Alldata "STRIVES" to post service bulletins in a 6 to 12 month period. Note - the word "strive" and the fact that Alldata made no guarantee! In fact, many of the missing service bulletins at Alldata had been issued far beyond the twelve month limit Alldata "strives" for.

Alldata may be better than Nothing but they sure aren't timely or thorough! And they certainly don't guarantee they will ever get around to entering data in a timely fashion. While Maxima.org may not have all the service bulletins that are posted on Alldata, Maxima.org does have more of the "important" service bulletins than Alldata.

In my view Alldata is sloppy, slow and incomplete but they are also the only game in Town.

To get a true view of the service bulletins relevant to your vehicle: you need Maxima.org, Alldata, and also a friend at a local Nissan dealership. The Best buy is Maxima.org.
