Actually they can run 12s right out of the box but I doubt that many do. This was an L99 which has like 30hp less than the LS3 but Motortrend got a 12.9 @ 108 out of the L99 auto and it looks like some other guy just got a 12.84 out of one the other day (found that on google just now). This one however was Vortech supercharged, so that time and trap was not very impressive... I didn't see it run later so I'm not sure if it got any quicker or not.

not sure on accuracy of info.. but yeah that L99 is rated 400/410... and he was supercharged.. and only running high 12's?.. doesnt seem right at all unless he just doesnt know how to drive it yet lol.. no traction FTL...

No I don't. I've never seen anything to indicate that they are necessary (and DSS doesn't list them on their website anymore anyways so they probably don't make them anymore).

yes. I don't know of anyone who has ever used upgraded axles in a maxima, even the 10 second guys and guys that trapped over 130mph.

Who else has made a 10 second pass besides Jime? Who has trapped over 130 mph?

I should have said person, I re-wrote that sentence and didn't proof read it and it came out being unclear. Mardigras trapped 130 in his car (not on his best ET pass which is what is listed in his timeslip on the timeslip page)

For what it's worth, I have cryoed axles in my car. Bought 'em from an org member who had them built in an axle shop in Nashville ( I think). They were stripped down, cryoed, reassembled with new parts and boots. I was worrying about the driveline shock when you spray lots of nitrous.

Not that I probably need them right now, but I was planning ahead..

you think the mt et drags 26 8.5 15 would fit well on the sawblades, and are you running them with tubes?

I'd want a wider wheel, but it will work.

No need for tubes either.
