You don't frickin get it, do you? (CLUTCH WAS SLIPPING), and this is not an excuse because I told you I don't give a damn about what you think about my Maxima, and by the way, why don't you go to the track, and get some numbers, and if you think FI 00-01 Maxs are slow that is your opinion, because that is not true.

Thank you guys for all the nice comments. The ACT 6 puck sprung disk, and bearing, are getting shipped this week, today or tomorrow,I'm pulling out the trans in my garage, and will install the clutch, break-in the clutch, and take it to the track (weather permit), if not , the max will be in the garage till next spring. Again thank you guys.

Would an extended rev limiter help out? Seems like you max power right when you have to shift. Maybe if the gears were mad longer you could juice some power out.

this car just has a tough time getting down the track for some reason. Its either the driver, car or both, but something is off. We all know that a supercharged 330whp or whatever it was isnt like a 330whp NA, but this car is running slower than a bunch of NA cars with a LOT less hp. Anyway, hope you figure out the problem and fix it.

What were the track conditions, DA on these runs?

The temp. was 55F,cloudy, winds 15-20 mph, track is not clean, launch area very bumpy, DA /NA.

Finally yesterday, I pulled the clutch of the car (60+ deg., and sunny), and took some pictures of the disk.

My buddy in an LS2 GTO went from trapping 114MPH to barely over 107 w/ a slipping clutch. If it isn't putting all that power to the ground, it's basically a waste. I'd bet it's probably making (factoring in additional drivetrain loss w/ the clutch) 270-280WHP at the higher gears. No wonder the top-end suffered.
