my first track day =( vol. disappointed

edit!! VIDEO FINALLY!! DONT MIND MY EXCESSIVE BURNOUT LOL ITS MY FIRST TIME

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tcomIsXKUnk

as many of you may know, im chasing the legendary kevin007s (R.I.P.) time at the track. 12.8 was the time i was trying to beat. Statistically, i should have beat these times with no problem . Kevin's Dyno was 270hp/284 tq on a dynojet. I did over 300 hp/tq on a mustang dyno which reads lowers.
if you just base it off that without kevins driving skill, i should be in the low to mid 12s?

Tires used were
18x8.5 rays track wheels wrapped in mickey thompson street radials 245 40 18

rear: 18x8 rays track wheels wrapped in dunlop direzza star specs same size.

that being said, my 60 ft times were pretty crappy. Kevin did have nitto 555r DRAG radials. maybe it was a combination of that +driver skill. Keep in mind this was my first time at the track.

comments welcome!!

kevin your a beast. i dont know how you did what you did!!!

+1 on mod list. Your times can only improve once you get your 60' down.

With the same 60's as Kevin you would be in the 12's. Good job for your first time out.

you'd definitely be in the 12s, but not low 12s with those trap speeds. keep working at it or get some slicks.

Mickey Thompson tires are wayyyyyyy better than nittos.
Also, your tire is a drag radial

I think you just have to mess with the tire pressure to get them to hook.
