I launch in drive leaving at idle when I get to 70MPH I slide it into manual mode and let the computer shift.

WTG Kevin. I knew it was just a matter of time. I was trying to analyze the 2 slips and was wondering how you lost so much et by the 330' mark after only a difference of .03 in the 60'. I swear, these cars are so finicky.

You should've come that would've been great maybe when can hit atco when do they close for the season. I ran 32 PSI up front and 42 PSI in the rear.

I think the difference could have been the PSI in the rear tires because I took breaks in between my runs with the colder weather my air pressure went down in the rear more than the front when I left the track I checked the air pressure and my rears where at 36PSI and I started at 42. My first run was the 13.91 pass.

I just cleaned up the car getting the undercarriage, wheel wells and rocker panels cleaned up in the cold today I'm done racing for the year(plus I reached my goal) but I'm gonna hit Cecil next Saturday to watch and get some video and pictures.

Nice job.....BTW, do you think the CVT has quickened its responses due to your 'training' it by your driving/track habits? I thought I'd read that it's somewhat intuitive that way.

I'm honestly shocked at those times w/2 basic mods but that CVT does seem to have a very strong low end though perhaps a tad shallow at the top end?

The CVT does elimimate driver error in between shifts because of it being shiftless and it leaves better also because it has less torque steer. On the top side Nissan closes the TPS sooner than than the 04 and 06 Max's. It's no doubt that with a flash for the CVT that it would trap 100-101MPH with just CAI and Exhaust.

The closing throttle body thing is a myth.

I got a lot of work to do.

You're doing alot to dispell alot of the myths concerning the 6th Gens and CVTs. Good stuff.

It not a myth when you have a device that measures it. It now a fact.

I hope you are doing well..looking forward to your times. There is a poster on 7th gen forums who has broken into 13's bone stock with a speed of 100+. He perfected his launch and cut about .3. I do believe his car is an outlier because it goes to 6600 and hangs on 6400 which is 200 better than most of us achieve.

damn I need to cut a 2.1 60'....it'll happen one day Only been to the track once, so it's just a matter of time.

Great job on the run. I always knew those CVTs had more in them than people gave them credit for...you just need to know how to use it. They hate WOT at high speeds for some reason...

That's because Nissan detuned them, the CVT pulls hard up to 75-80MPH the TPS closes up to limit top end performance that's why the MPH in the 1/4 mile is low.
