vids!! 1st time at the 1/4 mile track

So i finaly went to the 1/4 mile track with my 20th AE 5speed bone stock full intirior and half a tank of gas and street tires.

my very first run was a 15.8 witch i couldnt belive cuz my friends stock 5speed corolla did 16.0 so i was bout to go home!

After a couple of runs i started to get these numbers witch i was very pleased.

Here are some vids of that night.
Oh and look at the rest of my vids witch are all new too.
coment on them and rate them please.

^^^ hmmm, so the 5spds are not much faster than auto's huh....... what you should tell the camera man to do is to zoom in on the time board after each run makes the vid even better, nice times though, looking at my boys timeslip, he did 74.16mph through the 8th but end up trappin 92.63 at the end, must be the extra 5hp coming into play
EDIT: Actually i take that back, looking at your 60' your times could be better

Pretty good trap man. That's probably a 14.7 with a 2.20 60', could probably run 14.6 or 14.5 with a low 2.1 60' if you're able to pull some really sick launches off.

yeah im still trying to get better launches. im going back this friday to try again.

oh and the camera only has 3x optical zoom so you still cant see the times if he zooms in all the way.

yes - it is unchanged in any way. no additions or deletions.

2.0 60' and lots of experience at the track.

well those tires are just some regular General all season tires. i have never seen a difference between crappy all season tires and really good Z-rated summer tires when it comes to low power levels like stock or basic bolt on maximas have. my best 60' times ever are 2.07 that I cut a couple times on those General all seasons even though I've run on some pretty good, sticky summer tires before (toyo T1-S, Kumho MX, Hankook RS2 Z212s, etc). never tried any of those on my beater though, they were all on my modded maximas (it would look pretty funny as ugly as my beater is having a set of wheels and tires on it worth twice as much as I paid for the car lol).
