Jotech are the ones responsible for the strong numbers I have now. They have the stuff to wide band dyno tune the AFC. Haven't weighed the car yet; I'll have to do that too. About the 17s, I can only afford the fronts for now.

Why bring your car to jotech? I remember them being a rip-off from back in my highschool days -- have they changed? What do they charge you to do a tune? What did you dyno before; didnt you have strong #'s?
I am debating between TS ECU or going EU route -- love to weak but would be a huge learning curve for me on the EU.

Cool, glad to hear things have changed -- what do they(jotech) charge on the tune?

I THINK it's $250 for a dyno tune; 3 runs I believe.

That's expensive. I pay 90$ for an hour and up to 5 runs.

I was thinking the same thing, but he seems to be happy about the results so that's what matters. FYi: HPP will give you 3 pulls on the dyno w/ A/F readings for $50 bux.

My first and second gear are really strong; the 3rd gear however is very tall it seems. Ran 8 times and got consistent 14.8s.

16.6lb 18s...
Going to the track is blast isn't it. I noticed from your sig that you don't have a Y-Pipe listed. Are you running all those mods with a stock Y? I'll tell you I just added the Cattman Y pipe and Nismo Exhaust and there was a noticable difference over my stock exhaust. You already have the Greddy. I usually run on 1/4 tank, remove all floor mats, spare tire (is there a jack in here somewhere?) and that's it, everything else chrome rims and all stays the same. Oh yeah, the car tips in at 3700lbs or 3650lbs when I take out mats and spare. Bandimere Speedway, Denver CO Elevation 5860 ft.

I bet you are tuning it yourself though. Allblack is probably paying for the runs + to have them do the tune. $250 still kind of high. I hope I don't even up paying that much when I get it tuned again.

Yup, it's for dyno pulls and tune.

No y-pipe; I have Hotshot headers.

I know very little about headers, so perhaps there they Y together just before the resonator somehow. I know Cattman is making headers for the 6thgen and already has the Y-pipe out, so in that case they don't necessarily come together.

Allblack says he has no y-pipe.....but there has to be a Y-pipe in there somewhere unless he is running true dual exhaust. Right?

Headers come in 3 pieces; front and rear header and y-pipe. So yes, my headers came with a y-pipe.

Out of curiosity do you happen to have a picture of the headers and Y-pipe? I'll do some searching as well. There are only a few 6thgens with headers that I know of.

I see, looks like you do have a cat left., cool. I've got two precats (from what I understand are the bigger flow stopper), no cat in the y-pipe anymore. With any luck, I'll get to the track tomorrow, wish I had some guys to go with. Not to many taking it to the track in Denver. :-(

It's demoralizing, nearly the same as it is in Albuquerque.
