Not a fan of "what will win" threads, but IMO --any Maxima from 1995 and above will beat a stock 1.8T especially if the max has full exhaust like you said.

I beat my friend stock for stock 96 max manual vs. his 2002 GTI 1.8t manual. I am sure its almost a drivers race cause they are pretty close 1/4 mile wise but equally good drivers max would win and with full exhaust max would DEF win.

I had 5 cars from a stop on my friends 02 gti 1.8t manual. I have a 96 5spd with only a ypipe. Both are good drivers. So to answer your question: yes, the maxima would win.

Most stock 1.8T's I have seen run 15's. A 5spd max with just a yipe and catback should run mid/high 14's.
