New PB!! (1/8th mile) 8.84 sec with 1.952 Sixty!!!
I tried to get a run in before the end of the year after the install of my Place Racing CAI, but didn't make it. So, on January 2nd, the local dragstrip opened for test and tune on the weekends. I got in 11 runs. Best kill at the strip was a brand new 2004 GTO!! I will scan the slip soon, but the info is below:
New PB 330' and 1/8th time:
R/T ------- 0.054 s
60' ------- 1.960 s 330' ------ 5.725 s
1/8th ----- 8.841 s
MPH ------ 79.490
New PB Sixty Foot:
R/T ------- 0.324 s 60' ------- 1.952 s
330' ------ 5.764 s
1/8th ----- 8.886 s

Mods that mattered:
Running light weight (removed passenger seat, rear seat (back and bench), spare, jack, tools, etc.)
1/8th tank of 93 octane
Stock wheels with bald Potenzas on rear at 44 psi
Koenig Traffiks (17x7) on front (15.9 lbs each)
BFGoodrich G-Force Drag Radials on front at 15 psi
Cattman Y-Pipe (otherwise stock exhaust)
Place Racing Cold Air Intake w/Monster Filter
Tokico Illumina's all around set to 5 (stiffest)
Conditions:
70 degrees F
70% humidity
VERY Sticky track - well prepped
running weight of 3300 lbs including me
Avoided water trap
Short but good burnout
slipped clutch at a 3k launch
shifted at 6600 rpm each gear
Man that sounds like a 13 second run if it were 1/4 mile. Thats a damn good time. I need to get me some radials for my 04. what size drags were you running.

The RIMS are 17x7 Konig Traffiks (15.9 lbs each) with 225/45-17" BF Goodrich G-Force Drag Radials. The each wheel/tire weighs 38 pounds (Well, when new). I can't wait till I can run a 1/4!!
i always had the impression that 6spds couldn't launch for sh!t cuz of the real short gears and gobs of TQ.....after seeing your setup I am confident in my 6spd now....
I notice a majority of you have the SSR comps. Please help me find some for a decent price. They look awsome on your cars and the weight is outstanding. If anyone can give me some advice or tips of how I can come about finding these then please PM me. Sorry for the off topic comment. Nice times once again!

Funny you should say that. I have them too lol. Want to find a good price? Buy them used. Otherwise you are looking at about $390-400 a wheel for 17 inch.
Yup...used is the only way to go if you want a good price.....but what exactly is a good price to you? I got mine brand new for $2500 installed with lifetime balance and rotation 245/40/18 Yokohama AVS ES100 18x8.5 SSR comps....to me its worth every penny.....and I doubt you will get SSR comps @ a much cheaper price than mine.....they are very expensive rims to begin with....so I doubt whoever your buying it from, won't lower the price that much....
Pretty beefy torque addition w/that CAI. Do you have the dyno sheet for it? Where did you see the tq gians? Were there any losses in HP at any point on the curve?

My disk with the numbers is at home. I will be posting it up tomorrow when I combine the graphs (old vs new)
