OH NO! That is what we refer to as a "Neutral Drop". haha... you'll hear a clunk, your tires will spin and more than likely, you'll run over your transmission that just fell on the ground.
A brake torque is simply when you hold the brakes firmly and give the car some gas to raise the engine speed. Don't hold it for long periods of time b/c it builds up a lot of heat in the torque converter. And it's not good for the tranny.
What I do at the track is just what I explained above. Not the N drop, but the brake torque.
