14.68 @ 94.98 mph - 2.30 60 ft

I decided to go to the track the last day it was open since I haven't had a chance to run all year and I now have a new personal best time.

2.30 -60ft
9.53 -1/8 ET
76.40 -1/8 mph
14.68 -1/4 ET
94.98 -1/4 mph

mods:
stock resonator w/ cone filter
budget y-pipe
2.25" catback w/o resonator and a maxspeed muffler
sprint springs/AGX's 4/8

I'm very happy with my new time probably coulda went a .1-.2 faster if I did bog off the line. As soon as the track opens back up I'll be there hopefully running some low 14's.

that's a good time and has alot of potential if you bring your 60ft's down a bit. Good Job.

Yeah good job man. I remember some of your first runs. Practice does go a LONG way in racing a 5spd. Did you go to the Richmond track?

thanks fellas.

Aaron- I went to Richmond and they were actually treating the track with healthy amounts of VHT this time.

I had another run and it went like this:

2.23 -60'
9.61 -1/8 ET
74.38 -1/8 mph
14.79 -1/4 ET
95.12 -1/5 mph

I think I short shifted the car a little bit. still not bad. I was very happy with my first pass above especially since i hadn't run at the track almost all year.

That's cool. I've heard nothing but good things about the track in Richmond. It's suppose to be a fast track. Up there with EngTown, Houston, Fayetteville NC, Seattle, and FL. Keep busting those great times.

how the hell do you trap 95 with just i/y/e?? The best I trap is 92.8mph and that was with a 14.7xx and a 2.282. I gotta 96 se 5speed with i/y only. I ran it at etown and I heard thats a pretty good track with low elevation, something like 300ft above sea level?

Are you shifting to 4th? The reason I ask is that your car runs a lot like my car did prior to the MEVI/JWT (ie bit slow in 1st, but hauls once in 2nd). I ran a few 14.6s and a ton of 14.7s@95-96mph with an intake/y-pipe/UDP/b-pipe. Your high 2.2/low 2.3 60 foots and 9.5@76mph 1/8 is right in line with what my car did, but my car tended to get higher 95s and sometimes 96mph. If I held on to 3rd then I was in the 14.7s@94-95mph.

by low 14's i meant after I get some more stuff like maybe ECU and maybe the VI. I'm definitely going to try to get those two things over the summer. Right now I have a UDP and slightly ported throttlebody sitting here at the house. Hopefully those will go on soon enough.

yea, I shifted into 4th. I shifted 1-2 at 6500, 2-3 at ~6300 and 3-4 at ~6100. I just wish I could get a shift light that will light up at those RPMs for each gear. on the launch I rode the clutch out from ~3000 RPMs and got a 2.3 60' my second run I rode the clutch out from ~3300 rpms and got a much better 60' but I think I might've shifted a little late or something. I'm happy with my times though.
