What do you guys think? 15.140@91.64mph auto 97 Max

Just last Saturday I went to the track and broke my old record of 15.270@90mph.

R/T: .895
60': 2.274
330: 6.397
1/8: 9.772
MPH: 73.25
1000: 12.669
1/4: 15.140
MPH: 91.64

I own a 97' auto Maxima GXE, mods are:
Hybrid intake pipe (homemade), Tenzo filter, Budget y-pipe, Pilot muffler, K&N breather, Kyb AGX struts settings in the front 4 in the back 8, on Goodyear Eagle HP II's, 25psi in the front 30psi in the back, 15in Ultra wheels, no lowerbackseat, no trunk mat, no trunk board, no spare, spare floor jack still inside the trunk, 93 octane, Synthtic Mobil 1 Oil, synthtic Mobil 1 ATF, Denso Platinum Sparks, and Maxspeed Springs. I have yet to scan the timeslip...but what do you guys think, according to my mods.

Good stuff Xander. Is that 2.27 your best 60' to date ?? Your trap speed is awefully strong, I bet your third gear pulls like hell ! Keep up the good work.

Funny thing is Brad with his 3rd gen 92 stick Max is making the exact same trap at Byron. You guys and your mods, you dont play !! I gotta get some mods now, otherwise I will be looking at your tail-lights...

If we ever go the track together, I want you to drive my Max down the track, I probably got over 100lbs on you, and less weight = better times I gotta get into the 14's one way or another, I'm sure you feel the same way.

Actually, I did get a better 60' than that the same day, I got a 2.261, but i was only able to pull a 15.199 @ 90.60mph.

Oh and here is my timeslip. (sorry about the big scan...its a lot easier to read it this way.)

I don't know that altitude of Byron Dragway as of now...but ill look into that...but the temps that day were about low 50's to high 40's. Since it was mid afternoon im guessing low 50's with a slight headwind.

Ahh finally found the altitude of the track......756ft...so ya maybe the altitude played a small part...but it seems like the humidity played the biggest part on your high run times.

That race was alot closer then you think... That guy in the RSX "tree'd" you (assuming your track runs a 0.400 light).

This is what I mean: That RSX cut a 0.493 sec. light to your 0.893. That difference on the starting line would equate to atleast a half a car length lead at the end of the track. Your car is running very well. You almost took out one of Honda/Acura's finest!!!

One more bolt-on and a better start and that RSX will be owned!

Keep up the good work,
Gears

Actually your times aren't bad. I ran a 15.7 at the Edinburg track with just an intake and exhaust. The track is very slippery and the humidity just kills the car.
