98 se stock times

hey guys, i was planning on getting a 99 se 5 spd, but then i heard that 98 se was the way to go. the only reason i didn't concider 98 before now is i thought it was slower. i jsut would like to know what the stock 0-60 time was, cause i know the 99 is supposed to be 6.6
so let me know what times you know there "supposed" to be, and what times you have on your own cars, thanks.

All of the 95-99's are more or less the same stock with a slight advantage to the 95-96's because they're lighter and have a bit less unsprung weight.

Between a 98 and a 99, again, pretty much the same stock, but the 98's use the older style y-pipe design which sees bigger gains via aftermarket. The 99 uses the 00-01 style which, doesn't see as large of gains via aftermarket y-pipes. So if you're planning on modding, a 98 would probably be better. If not, either is fine. If you *really* want to mod, 95-96's are by far the best. Older OBD-I style emissions and there are ECUs available for them also. 95-96's with bolt-on's, the JWT ECU, 7200 rpm limiter, and the MEVI are freakin beasts!
