ok i went to track with my auto and the time is...
Hi there guys, well after i installed my mods..."i have intake and y pipe, then installed my catback form Apexi WS and underdrive pulley, tranny cooler.
Well with my first 2 mod my time was 16.4-16.25
with my last mods i get 16.03-16.085 with a 0.55 reaction.
I dont know if this times are fine to my automatic car...here in my state i dont know the temp and the altitude i will check later.
Another thing...i was going to my house after the track...and no-car on the highway so i press the gas!!!!!!!!!!! before all this mode and tranny rebuild my auto never pass 126 mph right now i almost hit 140, i think it was like 138, so im happy cause i have a very good high end rpms. Just let me know what do you think about my time. I hope to get 15´s later.

i thought a stock auto can get like a 15.8 for the 1/4
a stock auto hits 15.7's. At the drags people use slicks for a reason. The way the track is set up, it is best to use slicks because the starting line is basically made up of oil and rubber. I have been told that what you run at the drags on slicks is what you will run with street tires on the street. Put some slicks on it, heat them up and you will see a way better time. My first time at the track I did the same thing and ran a horrible time. I was mad all night long. It felt like I was burning out in sand. After that on the way home I was at a stop and hit it and I felt power that I did not feel when I was at the track. You can have 1,000,000 HP but if you can't get it to the ground your going nowhere. You'll just be sitting there with 1,000,000 HP.
My best here in MD, with the same mods as you plus a R/T high-flow cat, I was able to consistently hit 15.0's in the 1/4. Could just be your location and altitude. What are your 60' times? What tires and wheels were you running? Did you allow time for your engine to cool 1st before running? Theres a lot of factors, but with a little knowledge and practice you can get it down to about the low 15's, but like I said depending on so many factors.

hi there..i will tell you the altitude and temp.-..ok? someone told me, "here you have to think, one more second almost for the altitude, if yoy see the times on other states"

When I went to the track for the first time with my max, I ran a 17.1 but that was because of a bad knock sensor. Next time I had just an intake and I did a 16.1. Ihave the same mods except the tranny cooler and I did a 15.4. Is there any hesitation when you hit the throtle if so then check your KS and also try the drop resistor switch.
I'm unsure of what track you ran at near McAllen, TX, but the altitude there is damn near sea level (100' above). Altitude isn't a problem. Temps for the past week have been 70s-80s. The temps will make you .1-.2 slower maybe.

You don't need slicks to get into the 15's with a 4th gen automatic. There are plenty here that have done well into the 15's stock, low-15's with some mods, and even 14's with more mods all on STREET tires. I bet your 60' times were just really bad. Either that or your knock sensor might be flaking. Post up your whole slip. There's way more to a 1/4 mile run that just the ET.

i dont know..but its seams weird...i saw a lot of stock times on car-stats....etc...and here(im in monterrey for a few weeks, Mexico) that cars made 1 seconds more if you see the stats in USA.
