So long as your car is in normal shape, it's all up to you.

reduce weight, clean out ur trunk, spare tire, subs... unplug any 12V sources, turn off A/C, leave ur gas tank only 1/4 full runnin premium+ gas, if u have 17" or 18" wheels/tires put ur stock 15" ones back on (less rotation energy=faster)...

u can try to obtain some torque with ur brake on and rev nothin more then 2,000 rpm (tat's wat i heard but i never bother to try so i donno), and i wouldn't go WOT in the beginnin, but go 1/2 get some traction then go WOT then jus sit there hold ur steerin wheel tite and let ur car automagic ur timeslip out =)

i have a 997 auto gxe and i went with my 17" borbet type M's on and only got to 16.2 my max never came with stock wheels, but i have some 15" mags that came with it. with that make any difference? i kno bigger wheel = more mass and all that, but if u put my 15's and 17's next to each other they are still the same size. will the 15's still make that much of a difference?
