96 N/A auto...14.44@98.19mph
just got back from the track, and I am very happy. temp was around 50 degrees with low humidity and the sun was shining. I had several new bests today. Here are my best runs:
60': 2.180
330: 6.087
1/8: 9.283
mph: 77.58
1/4: 14.441
mph: 96.06
60': 2.189
330: 6.113
1/8: 9.307
mph: 77.68
1/4: 14.447
mph: 98.19
Timeslips are posted here: http://gemini.tntech.edu/~jpm3120/TIMESLIP.JPG
I also ran a few other 14.4's and a few 14.5's. Today was the first time I removed my passenger seat and rear bench just to see what it would do. I do weigh around 230lbs so it just drops my car's weight down to what some of you light guys cars weigh. I didn't believe that my car could hit a 2.1 60 ft time. I think with a torque converter and/or JWT ecu with the raised rev limiter I could possibly run a high 13 second pass. There were a few witnesses from the .org there. I raced Luckee2bhere with his 5spd with intake/y-pipe and he ran a 14.8 @ 94.09 mph against me. Don't brush off a car anymore just because it is an auto.
my mods are the following:
Variable intake set at 5000rpm
Hybrid JWT Intake
Cattman SS Y-pipe
test pipe
B-pipe (non-mandrel 2.5)
Hooker Muffler
G-Force ECU
RVM Underdrive pulley
FSTB
RSB
Don's VB Mod
stock 15" wheels with 205/50-15 kuhmo tires.
B&G Lowering Springs
KYB AGX
no spare tire, jack, removed passenger seat and rear bench.
Tires 20 psi front, 32 rear

That JWT ECU would possibly drop another .1 or so with that higher rev-limiter. BTW, are you running a Kumho auto-X tire or something. Those 60 foots blow my mind.

actually it is just the cheap ecsta supra 712 tire. The track hooked so unbelieveable today. I actually got wheel hop on one run where the dash was shaking, just like with a 5spd. The sun was shining and there was just the right amount of VHT down, it will probably never happen again.

Did you leave the nitrous bottle off of your list?
Congrats!
Let me know when your going back to Steele, I need to run again since I removed my u-bend and resonator. I ran the below stock time at a slower SDR, on a nice and warm 70 degree day.
Must be nice to know you can beat a stock auto 2002-2003.

It is not very simple to get a NA AUTO as fast as Matt has. He has put tons of time and money into this and deserves all the props he gets! He did not always have a freak auto!

By no means am I saying he got there with no effort but it seems that a lot of people want to the easy road to being fast instead of putting in the effort. People want their autos to be quick so instead of practicing driving styles, they drop a lot of money and a 5 speed into the car.
Prime example of someone who worked on his driving skill is Ben. A pretty much stock GXE (only an HAI) running 15.1. That's the road I've take pretty much until this point but now I just need to find the time to add my mods to my car.
I don't know how Sleeper feels but I say work with what you got and work on the driving skills. A good driver will outrun a fast car with a bad driver anyday.
