Fun run tonight.

I must say it was quiet the night out tonight. I ran to the track and ran afew times. EVEN got to run the "NEW" SRT-4. In my astonishment, I sat beside him all the way down till I forgot to shift cause I was watching him sit beside me. But, he ran like a 10.0 and I ran a 10.17 at the end. All night I was hitting 10 flat. My best run was

rt 0.885
60 2.379
330 6.529
mph 71.54
132 9.964

My best reaction time was 0.683
My best 60ft was 2.358
best 330ft was 6.529
best mph was 71.54

Kill list:
Looked like a 95 Mustang GT 5.0 (Auto)
V6 Mustang (yeah I know)
Civic (I don't know the model) but he was so upset that he had put in sooo much money in his car and it was getting beat by a stock Max.
Best one Camaro RS (using Nitrous) that was the Max's first encounter with nitrous.

And almost had that SRT-4 till next time.
Y-pipe, test pipe, short shifter being put in tomorrow.
My friends 1.8t walked me really really really bad though. It just has a chip, CAI, and THAT IT!

P.S. The funny thing is earlier yesterday I took the car to Advance Auto cause my CE light came on and I have a bad Knock Sensor!

Thank you. The humidity was at about 70% and the temp was in the high 70's. Tire pressure was at 20 and slowly went down from there. By the next day it was at 15. Full interior 3 dollars in gas @ 1.77 gal. Spare was taken out also.

NEW TIMES

NEW TIMES ARE IN \

After installing a Budget Y, a Budget Test Pipe, and a Pacesetter short shifter. Here is my new two runs. I still have a bad Knock Sensor also keep in mind. The first run goes as follows

RT 0.933
60 2.302
330 6.412
MPH 71.77
1320 9.836

That is after letting the car sit for a good hour. The run immediately after that run goes

RT 0.990
60 2.285
330 6.449
MPH 70.75
1320 9.890

Those are the only two funs I could get before it started raining, which works out good. Cause if you keep your ticket you could come back next friday and run for free.
These runs were what I was hoping for. The 2.2 60 was never reached stock. Once I get this knock sensor situated I will update some new times. I'm aiming for atleast a 9.750

So how do you like your Pacesetter STS? I'm thinking about getting one soon and wanted to know your opinion.

Oh, I absolutely love it. It is so much for fun to drive now. And you could adjust the hieght of it so, I put it at the lowest thread. The only problem I had with it on installation is, the heat shield over the cat has to be modified. And I was not having fun with that, it was a pain. The installation was really really easy, I got the directions here http://www.maximadriver.com/throw.html Did not take me long at all. And it really does cut your throw by like 30-50% or something like that. You could even tighten it alil to make a more stiff shift instead of a wobbley shifter. I would def. get one. That and it's cheap you know. My wife drove it and she's not into cars and mods but she was having a ball with it "I really like that." Well, that's that hope I helped.

In my 99 5spd with just stillen intake and frankencar midpipe I run 9.852 1/8th mile at 72.23 mph. Thats with a 2.29 60 foot. I think your car should be faster with just the y-pipe and test pipe specially when you get that knock sensor fixed 9.750 should be in good reach. good runs

Yeah, that is def. why I think it's my knock sensor. I look at your times and by all means you are probably a better driver than I but your MPH are alot better than mine. I would love to see a 72 mph run in the 8th. Yeah, that is my goal is to hit at least a 9.75.

LMAO, no no no! Im turning 24. I guess I just never paid attention to that. My bad. BUT while Im on here good news cause I went back to the track. This time we had a battle of the imports. The cool thing is, it was the Maxima representing for the second year in a row to win 1st place. I dialed in at a 9.81 cause I didn't know how the car was running. Tire pressure was at 20. Still got a bad knock sensor (or like nissan calls it "its just sensor") The last race, the guy got excited and red lighted. I on the other hand broke out, but it didn't matter cause he faulted. My break out time was

r/t 0.903
60ft 2.216
330 6.312
mph 72.12
1.8th 9.719

Here are some pics from the event and after.
