took my 6 speed to the track yesterday

My best run was a 14.73 @ 97.3 and my 60' on that run was 2.33

this was at Long Island Motorsports in Westhampton NY
all i had on the car was an intake, didnt gut anything out, 3/4 tank of gas, subs in trunk, aftermarket 17's with sumitomo htrz 225/45's with about 33 psi in all 4..
the track was a little slick, and i know i could have ran better times if there was more traction... judging by my trap speed, what do you guys think i should be running? 14.3 maybe? im considering going to e-town to see what i can pull there because i heard theres more traction at that track.

there was also a guy from altimas.net that came with us, in his 3.5 automatic... i ran his car once and pulled a 14.75 @ 93.6 mph and my 60' was 2.21
his car didnt feel as fast as mine, but off the line i barely even squealed the tires and once i had traction the wheels didnt break free at all

With 97 mph traps you could be looking at as low as a 14.1 if you can really nail a sick launch. 14.3 is about as low as you can realistically expect though.

That's a awful good mph for just having an intake. What was the temperature, barometer and humidity? My Maxima could only muster up a 92.57 mph but it was 86 degrees, high humidity and 30.01 baro. Even in better weather I won't see a 97 mph.

Like Nealoc187 says, get that 60' time down and you will see some low 14s for sure!

the website for the track is http://www.limotorsportspark.com/ and all of the info you would need is on the site..

i would be very happy with a 14.3, the temperature was about mid 70's not sure about the barometer, and it wasnt humid that day either...

and chris someone from altimas.net came with us, he posted on altims.net about it

That person would be me.. Hey Joe.. are you coming to the track this weekend?? I'd love to race you again.. I've since added a custom Magnaflow Exhaust, and have the CAI installed. It should be a good race. We're going on Sat, check the NE forum at altimas.net for more info.

Yeah...for 97 mph on street tires, a 14.3 is probably in the ballpark with a good launch (in the 2.1 range).
