WAHOO, new best time!!

15.65 @88.59 mph!

Last night was the first time back to the track since replacing my spark plugs, fuel filter, and knock sensor. Last time I was there my best was a 16.22, the little things can make quit a bit of difference! Hopefully next week will have a little better weather, plus I will probably pull out the spare and sub box and see some 15.4s maybe.

Wow, you knocked over a 1/2 second off your time. I'd say replacing the plugs, filter, ect. isn't small stuff if they are shot. Mod's do not do any good if the engine itself isn't running smooth. Congrat's!

Just Got Faster!

Went back to the track this week and got yet another best time.

15.56 @88.87 mph and a 2.41 60'

Thats with a 1/4 tank of gas and spare and sub still in the car. Also humidity was horrible, it was in the 90% range on that run with mid 70s temp.

Yeah thats what I thought, low 15s. But how big of an effect is the weather exactally? Like I said mid to high 70s, or even maybe low 80s, I dont really know, and I know humidity was definately no less then 90%, I could see it in the air, kinda like fog almost, it rained later that night. Also my trap speeds seem to be low, I wonder if I'm having problems in the high end. Any tips/suggestions would be appriciated.
