I went up to Cicero, NY at 89 degrees and 60% humidity. The elevation up there is pretty high, i'm guessing since it is by Syracuse. Tell me what you guys think of the times. They were much slower than i thought but maybe it's due to elevation? I have the same setup that is in my sig when i went there

Cicero, NY is at 400 feet elevation. 400 feet isn't enough to make you run that slow. That altitude usually takes off about 1 tenth. So, something else is wrong. The 89 degrees is enough to make a few tenths of a difference over 50-60 degrees. So, now you should be running about 4 tenths slower than other Maxima's with those mods. BTW, what are other Maximas with your mods run in the 1/4 mile?

Well, if I am running 4 tenths slower with the conditions I ran in, I should be at about 14.6, right? This around the time I was hoping to get. I do have the heavier 17" stockers on which might slow it down a bit. There are a couple of maxes that post really good times...like 14.8 for a bone stock SE 5spd and those with mods similar to mine are at 14.4-14.7 i believe. I never thought track conditions can have such a big impact on one's track times. If stock 5spds do 14.8-15.1 in the 1/4, I'm trying to figure out if my time is slow because of: 1) it's my 1st time to the track and am not experienced enough 2)track conditions 3)my car is just slow

I think it's a combination between 1 and 2. But, it's mostly 2. According to your times, you obviously know how to drive. And 89 degrees is really hot. If you wait until it get below 50 degrees, your car will be much faster. Engines love cold temperatures. Also, when you get use to how hard you can launch your car at, your times will get much better. The traction changes everytime you visit the track. Just practice and go when it's colder, and you'll see major improvement.
